A training companion for cribbage. You're dealt six cards; you decide which two to throw into the crib. CribEye then ranks all 15 possible throws by their expected value and explains how your choice compared to the best one.
No. There's no sign-in and no network connection at all. Everything runs on your device, online or off.
Only on your iPhone. Your stats, streaks, review deck and daily history live in the app's private storage and are never sent anywhere. Deleting the app deletes the data. You can also erase everything from Settings → Reset all progress.
Each discard is ranked by its expected value — the average points it earns across all possible cut cards (hand value) plus the average crib value. The top three score 5 / 3 / 1. Tap “How is this scored?” on any result for the full method.
CribEye ranks by expected hand + crib value. It does not model the pegging (the play), and it treats the opponent's crib throws as random. On very close hands an expert chart may differ by a fraction of a point. Treat the rankings as a strong guide, not gospel on every edge case.
Hands you misplay are saved and brought back on a spaced-repetition schedule until you get them right — so your weak spots get the most practice.
Settings → Reset all progress (with a confirmation). You can also clear just the Review deck from the same screen.
